Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS)/Ryton® is a resin bonded coating with outstanding chemical resistance and thermal degradation properties. This coating is virtually unaffected by any solvent to 400°F. PPS may be used as a stand alone material for excellent corrosion and chemical resistance or as a primer for a top coat. PPS also tends to char during combustion, making the material inherently flame retardant. PPS also has excellent abrasion and wear resistance. This coating is used extensively in the chemical processing industry.
